This current body of work reflects the influence that the textile industry had on Greenville. The reminders of our textile heritage surround us. Many of the old mills stand abandoned: some have been torn down, others reborn as condos, art centers and hotels. Mill villages are being transformed into up-and-coming neighborhoods; others are in decay. These painting represent my awareness of this past.
