Edith McBee Hardaway

Edith McBee Hardaway is a Greenville, South Carolina mixed-media artist whose work blends realism and abstraction through layers of paint, texture, collage, and photographic imagery. Inspired by the Upstate and her hometown, she is especially passionate about preserving Greenville’s textile heritage, historic landmarks, and disappearing places through art.

A founding member of the Artists Guild Gallery of Greenville, Edith has been part of the local arts community for nearly 20 years. Her work has been exhibited throughout the Southeast and reflects her love of experimentation, history, and storytelling—creating art that connects the past with the present.
